rev:text	We decided to try this place out during restaurant week in Charlotte, NC. It was very hit/miss. For starters, we had no trouble getting a reservation, which was surprising for one of the busiest times for a restaurant in Charlotte. The seating was split between a ground level area and a more private area that is elevated and near the window. The elevated area is for groups of 2 and no more, with the exception of the 4 seater directly in front of the window at the main entrance. The waiter was extremely knowledgable about each item on the menu and made recommendations that were spot on!! I had the pan seared scallops that had a balsamic reduction and served over a purée of cauliflower. These were simply amazing and worth ordering again should I come here in the future. The glass of red wine was not really my taste. No harm, no foul. Next came the flat iron steak with baby arugula topping the slices of steak. The arugula with copped tomatoes and dressing was OUTSTANDING!! However, the steak was very fatty and chewy. Lastly, I had the cheesecake. It was probably the driest cheesecake I have ever eaten. If it wasn't for the fresh berries that came with it I would have more than likely choked. We also enjoyed a complimentary glass of homemade lemoncello that was noting more than simple syrup and lemon flavoring. I would go back, but there are things I would never order again. The waiter was one of the best I have had in all of my Charlotte dining experiences!!
