  • The poor reviews for LA Palm are unfortunate because I actually really love this place. It DEFINITELY depends on who you see here that determines whether or not you will go back. I only ever see Kathy and (with a little gentle direction) she's great for biogel and shellac manicures; only thing that truly bothers me about her is that it appears she isn't just a nail technician...she's a receptionist/front desk/customer service rep as well?! Don't be surprised if she answers a few calls, or stops your manicure to cash out a client. It's ridiculous that the management here hasn't hired someone to alleviate the workload of their other staff members, who should be focusing on their service at hand! I've also had some waxing done here (underarm and upper leg). Pretty satisfactory apart from the room being tiny.
