  • I just bought a car at Thorobred Chevrolet in Chandler AZ. The salesman tricked me into giving a low discount before I had time to think about it and then held me to it. I had the car checked out at Firestone. They said the right rear tire only had 1/4" of tread and would only last a month. I called the Thorobred salesman and mentioned the problem and he said that 1/4" was within the guidelines and that he was busy with a customer. I then called their main number and was transferred around for twenty minutes because no one knew who handled this type of problem. I then drove to the dealership and was given the run around for two hours. One person finally went out to look at the tire. He said it was not covered under their warranty but he could sell me a tire at their employee discount. He said he would call me with a quote. I left, had lunch and waited for two hours. I finally decided to go back to Firestone and have it replaced. The Thorobred rep did call me but by that time I had enough of their cap so I did not answer. Thorobred Chevrolet is in business to make money selling cars in the short term. They DO NOT care about customer service and building a long term relationship. I would not recommend Thorobred Chevrolet in Chandler AZ to my worst enemy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
