  • Wow, an update 7 years later! We are old, my friends. But Cagibi is looking shiny and new, and I'm so happy it seems to have brought it's true heart up a couple blocks North to this new spot across the street from Vices Versa. I'm also happy they brought the vintage pharmacy shelves with them, salvaging them from the tragic gutting of the old location! Much remains the same: filling and inexpensive vegan and vegetarian food, a couple beers on tap, delicious smoothies and juices, a family vibe. The cafĂ© has shifted to a coop model which hopefully is a nice experience for the team making the magic happen. I didn't find out if they will still be able to have live music in this location, but the layout would work and is definitely conducive to readings and talks, and of course to relaxed study, reading a good book, lunch with friends.
