This place stated out in Guatemala with a prized chicken recipe and boy are they good. My father was from Guatemala and I lived down there for a few months as a small child and I got addicted to the empanadas. Which are different from all others. The crust is light and flaky and the filling is just right. They shred the chicken and put it in here. I got the buffalo one which have a full jalapeƱo inside. The rice was well seasoned and the beans were perfect.
It was a real taste of my childhood and as luck would have it they are building a second location down on South Blvd.
