First and foremost, the word 'luxury' should be removed from the name of this complex because it is false advertising. Seriously, I would give this place no stars if I could. I've been here for 7 months and I've had to put in over 20 maintenance requests during that time frame. Over half of those requests had to do with the heater and a leaky A/C. I was told these were fixed but someone lied and didn't do their job. I inquired about maintenance and was told that they were certified to fix the HVAC. :/ Then, why would it take so many separate attempts to fix? This place is made to look appealing from the outside. Please don't be fooled by the nice pool or quartz counter tops in the kitchen. The quartz countertops are nice in the kitchen but they didn't bother to replace the countertops in the bathroom. The apartment was built and upgraded cheaply. The property manager is clueless and basically just doesn't get it. I've made complaints to her in person and all I've ever received was a blank stare and countless excuses. She is extremely incompetent to say the least. My first night here I had to park across the street because all the parking was full. This was ridiculous. I was basically forced to pay for a covered parking spot to ensure this wouldn't happen again. I've noticed that unless you are paying for a spot or in your apartment by 9PM, then you have a slim chance of getting a parking spot. Even now, there are numerous residents that are forced to park across the street if they are not in their apartment by a certain time. I was told that the carpet was cleaned before I moved in which wasn't the case. I walked around in white socks on my first night here and they were black within a few minutes of walking. Residents are allowed to drive around with loud bass throughout the complex. I complained about this to the office and their response was 'we've had similar complaints but all we can do is put a note on their apartment. You should call the cops next time'. Yeah right! It's their responsibility to make sure residents keep noise levels to a minimum.
One of the original posters stated that it was quiet here which is a lie. This place is loud. The cops are here often and when I state often , I mean at least once every other day. Often, residents do not pick up after their dogs. The nicest, cleanest area is the pool that is at the front of the property. Kids often roam the complex playing in the streets and popping out of nowhere when cars are driving through the neighborhood. The office doesn't do anything about this which I think is extremely dangerous. The pool lock has been broken forever, so kids can show up unattended day and night.
Oh yeah and fair warning about the electric bill. Mine has been anywhere from 150 to 234 during the summer months! This has a great deal to do with the crappy windows and the fact that the units are old so my a/c won't go below 75 and 75 is hot. The bedroom is the only cool area of the apartment.
I encourage everyone to visit the back of the property where you will experience the smell of rotten garbage because management is too lazy to clean the garbage bins.
One last thing, there is a monthly charge for pest control but I've only had one visit from the pest control guy since I've been here and I had to request it! The guy was an idiot and I don't know what he sprayed but it didn't work. I've never lived some place that is so gross and where everyone seems to be incompetent beyond belief. It makes no sense whatsoever.
Cue the 'Final Countdown' music. I only have three more months here and I can't wait. Lesson learned...
PS
Anyone who gives this place five stars is a poser or one of the office staff trying to improve their rating. Shame on you!
