  • Jay Design is a gem of a store in the heart of Lawrenceville. They have soap that comes naked (just a bar) or beautifully packaged, which makes for an excellent gift. I get the guest soaps and give them at my B&B as thank you gifts. Guests love them and for me it's the perfect little gift that has a tie to Lawrenceville, too. You can't get higher quality soap and it simply lasts forever. I keep telling Bill, the owner, that I'd buy more soap--but it just lasts too damn long! LOL The nice bonus for this long-standing establishment is that the recently-opened french patisserie La Gourmandine is literally right next door. So you can get a pastry fix and a soap fix right next door!
