| - The only reason why this review is getting two stars is because the doctors are fantastic.
Beside that the employees are downright pitiful. In particular the office manager. I have never been one for writing reviews unless it complimented the establishment but I feel the need to inform future customers of the staff that work here. I stopped by Summerlin vision to drop off my frames to have the lenses placed, keep in mind I had already been fitted and measurements were taken they just needed payment. Something so easy but yet so complicated smh. When I arrived I approached the receptionist( office manager) to get assistance and she rudely pointed to the clipboard for me to sign in. I did so and waited while another gentleman was being assisted, 15 minutes later he is done so I'm expecting to be serviced. This is definitely not the case, a patient exits from the exam room and sits. She is serviced next, not a problem as she had an appointment but what became unacceptable was that another patient walking in with the same reason I was there for and being seen before me. This was shocking, I approached the receptionist and informed her that I had been waiting and two people have jumped in front of me. She became irate and yelled that I had to wait because these patients had appointments and I questioned her because the second lady that walked in was there for the same exact reason as me and I was told I could not make an appointment for that. This lady proceeded to go back-and-forth with me, using foul language huffing and puffing, saying things under her breath and I stood there shocked as I had never experienced such disrespect and unprofessionalism in a medical practice. I came into this practice to spend my hard earned money and to be treated in such manner was not only appalling but discriminatory. I did leave the office and I called back to make a complaint over her head unfortunately you have to complain to the CEO Dr. When I did call she proceeded to yell at me over the phone, so not only did she raise her voice and yell in the office she got on the phone and continued to act aggressively.
By the afternoon I received a call from the doctor in charge and I explained the entire situation in great detail, I felt as though I was discriminated against and was unsatisfied with my office visit. Phone call went great, lets see if something is actually done about this rotten employee.
I work in a practice that has referred countless employees there but I will tell you their business cards will be taken out of our break rooms and will no longer be a referral source. Spend your money elsewhere if they can't hire quality employees. If you are having a bad day, stay home because people don't walk into a business to spend their money and receive bad customer service. Their are plenty of unemployed people who can treat customers with respect and dignity. This women should be replaced.
****called the office the next day to cancel all authorizations that were given to them for my eye glasses and the same office manager felt the need to inform me that the misunderstanding that "I" had was not in any way a reflection of her behavior and the fact that I felt discriminated against, she took offense to that. Well there's still no accountability in that office. She abruptly hung up. Still no apology. There are too many optometrist in Nevada for me or anyone else to be treated in such a manner.
