I gave 2 stars for 2 reasons. 1 - the entire service took an hour and a half from the call to finish - which was great. 2 - the key worked. Other than that, it wasn't pleasant. Like Pop-a-lock, my company provides a service, so first impressions are important to me. This guy pulls up at my house and says "ok wheres the keys?". I stopped him and shook his hand and introduced myself and he did the same after that. He didn't say one word for about a 1/2 hour after that. Then about 3/4 of the way thru the process, he opens the door of my car and hits my daughters truck next to it. The door hit at a sharp angle, so there was no ding, but there was paint transfer. He immediately looked up to see if we saw it and both my son and I did. He didn't say anything. When he was done, he handed me the keys. I said "not trying to be a dick here, but what are you going to do about the door ding you just put in my daughters truck?" He walked over to it and wiped off the paint with spit and says "I wouldn't worry about it." I paid for the key, because the key worked, but what happened to good customer service. There wasn't even an apology. Just rude customer service. Very disappointed in Pop-a-lock. I should get the fender of my daughters truck repainted and the door of my car and send them the bill.
