  • I'm so glad the renos are done here cause honestly it was hard to come here when everything was out of sorts. The upgrade was much needed and the whole place looks great. I really like that a lot of the new equipment has tvs attached so you can watch a show while your doing cardio instead of painfully watching the time tick by. I have been coming to gym for 8 years and I have stayed loyal because the staff is great and the rates are much better compared to other gyms. Plus I can use my membership in the SE when I'm over on that end of the city which is nice. The change rooms have way more space to put your bags and lockers galore! They also put in a vanity with plug ins for hair dryers and whatever so that women can do their hair / makeup with more room and out of the way of people coming in and out. They lost one star because lately the front desk staff hasn't been very receptive. I see them openly out on their phones all the time. It shows me that their more interested in texting than working and the last time I checked people didn't get paid to text. The one girl who would always greet me or say goodbye when I left has fallen victim to this bad bad habit. It's nice to be acknowledged with a friendly hello or a have a nice day when you leave it makes you feel less invisable. That's just me though!
