  • as a girl, i love the saucer! first, the food is pretty outstanding. jalapeno cheddar tater tots with habanero sour cream! the french dip is out of this world. burgers are also really good. they have like 400 kinds of beers and you can get samplers called "flights" where you get maybe 2oz of 5 different beers by country or region (there is a german flight, a UK flight, a US flight, a NC flight, etc). there is also beer poker, where the 'tender selects a beer for you (for $2) if you're really into beer you can join their beer club and if you drink ALL the different beers then you get a numbered plate on the wall. try the lost coast downtown brown-- i think it might be my favorite beer. a friend bought me a shot that the 'tender said tasted like a white gummy bear. the man didn't lie and the shot was fantastic. the music played is great; a lot of 90's-00's. last time we went was a saturday night and there was live music going on. and the girls wear super short plaid skirts (if you're into that sort of thing) :)
