MY DOG WENT TO THE HOSPITAL AFTER STAYING HERE! That sentence should be enough to deter you from entrusting the well being of your pet to these people. Within 24 hours of picking up my healthy 1 1/2 yr old English bulldog from their facilities he was admitted to his veterinary hospital for dehydration, major weight loss, and shallow breathing. My vet informed me that he believes my pet was not given enough food or water during his stay at this place and that caused him to lose 6% of his body weight (that is not something he needed or should have lost with exercise as the owner of the facility insisted). We provided extra food and told them he was a big drinker and that he needed 3 cups of food per day or more if he wanted it. When we picked him up they have us half a bag of food back and almost the entire bag of good for his toys (the entire bag of food for his toys should have been gone and almost all of the food for his bowl should have been gone too)
This place came highly recommended to us by a family member. We understand that things happen and maybe it truly was a mistake but after speaking with the girls who work there they insist he ate and drank plenty (my vet disagrees). When I spoke to the owner instead of apologizing she got very defensive and insisted it wasn't her or her staffs fault and when I questioned her she yelled at me and told me to shut up.
I looked online to see if anyone else had a bad experience and if I looked hard enough I found two other people who had similar experiences. I only wish I had looked before we too him instead of taking the recommendation as we did.
We won't be back. We payed $750 for his stay there and all we got in return was a sick puppy, a $500 vet bill, and a pit in our stomachs for the next time we have to find a place for our pup to stay.
