I guess only people who have had bad experiences use Yelp anymore. I had a problem and talked to the young male manager (Alex?) who not only refunded my $1.09 but also replaced the item. He did it all with a smile and very quickly, too. I don't go to McDonald's much anymore (too calorically-dense for this old girl..lol) but on the rare occasion I do, I always choose this location because the service is good, the staff is friendly, and if there's a problem, it's been resolved satisfactorily.
Maybe in the past there have been issues but I've seen a change in staff and a change for the better in this location's service and cleanliness. I recommend giving them a try.
