As you can see with my 1 star review.. I'm not exactly pleased. I've been living in a certain community that is policed by this company for 4 months now and never had an issue with them. I've seen them towing people all the time but never my car. I always have my pass in place and always park correctly.
However they did tow my car and when I called in asking for a reason the guy said he didn't know but it was probably a parking pass issue. I assured him it wasn't a parking pass issue and it had to be something else. He told me I would find out upon arrival when I came to pick up my car (they also require a 30-45 minutes heads up when you need to pick up your car).
Showed up 40 minutes later to pick up my car. The guy that was there didn't know about my car either. Again with the "probably a pass issue..." He asked for my card and ID and the registration to my car. So I walk over to my car to retrieve my registration. I bet you couldn't guess what caught my eye as I walked to my car? My parking pass. So now they had no reason to tow my car at all. The person who towed my car wasn't there and I received no explanation.
The guy had already written the receipt up inside the office and listed the price as 200 plus the 10% charge they do for cards. I'm not gonna lie the inside of the office smelled of weed. I usually don't care about much of that but since I'm lodging a complaint I'm going all out. He didn't know how to run the credit card machine so he called another guy who then instructed him that I needed to pay an extra 40 dollars because of "special equipment.." So my new total was going to be 264. An outrageous amount for a tow that should have never happened...
I'd love to be contacted by the company. Maybe they took a photo of my car before it was towed showing the reason I was in violation. Perhaps since it was a frosty morning the windshield was covered in ice and they couldn't see my parking pass?? Anyway below is the photo i grabbed at the impound lot of my parking pass clearly visible.
