| - This restaurant is mediocre at best. We came in at 5:30pm on a Friday and were told it was a 30 minute wait. So we waited the 30 minutes, got the text to return, and were seated. The restaurant was pretty packed, which I thought was a good sign, but booyy was I wrong. I'll get right into it..
The waitress brought out drinks fairly quickly and there was already a basket of chips with salsa waiting on the table when we were seated. The salsa was good, but the chips were terrible. They were super thick and tasted stale. We ordered the chicken tamales and carne asada burrito. The order took quite some time to come out. I don't know exactly how long, but two tables that were seated well after us, both received their orders before us. Anyways, the tamales were dry. That's the best way to put it. They were dry, crumbly, and tasteless. The rice that came on the side was laughable, looking AND tasting like it came out of a dang rice a roni box. Next up..We had asked for grilled vegetables in the burrito, but instead we got raw zucchini. We were also up-charged for the guacamole we asked for but never got on the burrito. We didn't make a fuss about it, because at that point we were desperate to get out of the restaurant. Needless to say, we won't be returning.
