| - Believing that this was just your everyday ice cream shop, I was pleasantly surprised to happen upon a wide variety of items on their menu. From acai bowls, toast boxes, puff waffles, incredible selection of drinks, and much much more, I had literally no idea where to start.
My first visit was a rather quick one. I ordered a white chocolate macadamia nut cookie and two Ferrero macarons. While the cookie tasted standard, man was I just BLOWN away by that macaron. Tasted exactly like a ferrero, but perhaps even better because of the crunch and chewiness of the macaron itself.
My second visit, I ordered the Cookie Monster toast box, a hot pistachio latte, and yes... more Ferrero macarons. The latte had subtle, sweet taste. It didn't quite attack you, but I liked it that way as it balanced out with the whipped cream, pulling off a nice combination. As for the toast box, it definitely was on the sweet side so BEWARE! It was very tasty, but so sickeningly sweet that even someone of my capacity almost couldn't finish by the end. If you have a big sweet tooth, this one is definitely for you.
On my third visit, I had the plain toast box, strawberry sunshine smoothie, and you guessed it... more macarons. I recommend trying the normal toast box. Plain and simple, but so so good. You can taste the quality of the product by having it in its most barest form. As for the sunshine smoothie, it was definitely solid. All I can say really, for such a common type of smoothie.
While I still have yet to try their acai bowls and puff waffles (I'm still scarred by the disappointment of Itea), this place is very very promising. I've become a fan of their eye catching interior (which is so SO cute) and the quality of all the desserts I've had so far. I will definitely keep coming back.
