Last time I was in the store, they had some issue with their computer systems and instead of explaining that to the line forming, they ignored everyone and walked around behind the desk. After 10 minutes in line and being ignored, I asked what was going on. If looks could kill, I would be dead right there. Clearly, they lack professionalism in many areas.
I'm a Mesa native and I've been a fan of NBE for years. My mom would drag me in before I could even fit in the clothes. The variety and styles were the best in the valley. Over the years, it's become more teen clothes and that requires more sorting for those of us who don't want to look like we are 15. The gems you can find are worth the search.
The store leaves MUCH to be desired in customer service. From the associates to the managers, they are some of the worst retail employees I've ever been around. From the moment you walk in, they are terrible to you - both in my experience and in watching them interact with others. I've experienced this for years but continue to go back, because I've always been a fan and hate to give it up.
