Several years ago I had Ed Roman guitars swap out the bridge pickup on my pre-CBS Parker Fly Deluxe from back when Ken was still making them. It sounded harsh and shitty, so I called them and it turned out their flunky guitar tech wired it wrong. I was in college halfway across the country with no options, so AT MY EXPENSE I shipped my guitar to them so they could fix their mistake.
Bottom line: I took it to a shop to have a "professional" work on my prized guitar that I wouldn't dream of touching myself. I had to ship it back to them (again at MY expense) so they could fix their own problem. I mean honestly if you can't wire a pickup correctly, what are you doing working in a guitar shop? Forget this place. It's nothing more than Ed Roman's shrine to himself.
