| - As a local, I have taken out of town guests to Bouchon Bistro at The Venetian for breakfast on various occasions, and while generally expensive, it has been good. However, on our last visit (Saturday around 11:00a) the service was some of the worst I have ever received, and the food marginal. Upon arriving we were told it would be about a half hour wait - ok, they were busy. The hostess suggested nothing, but I nevertheless took a guest over to the bar to order drinks while we were waiting. After being ignored by the bartenders for 15 minutes, one acknowledged us, then never again returned. I finally got another that was rude at best, and 35 minutes and $60.00 for 4 drinks later, I was served just in time to be seated. The waitress was about the same caliber, and the food so-so for an experience that cost me roughly $250 for 4 at breakfast. I don't care about the money so much (I knew what it was when I went there), but it is totally unacceptable and embarrassing to be treated in such a manner - if they don't have the staff, don't let additional customers in - Really? I would terminate whoever is in charge of that fiasco and don't plan on returning.
