| - I've been going to this place for about a year now and up until recently the service has been decent, nothing exceptional but it was worth it cause the price is somewhat decent. The last three times I have been there, three different technicians have done a terrible job. They've half-a***ed all three times. Today I went in for a gel manicure (had an appointment for dip powder, but I changed it mid-day to gel, WAY before my appointment) and one of their employees forgot to make the change in their system. They take me for the appointment after saying they won't be able to do a gel manicure tonight (which I thought to myself yeah, why not? Because I had called and made the change mid-day for an appointment that was at 6:15 p.m.). They take me in great but it's not like they were going out of their way, the appointment was already set regardless of whether it was for dip powder or for gel. I asked for a gel manicure even when I had come in and once I was seated the guy proceeds to get a buffer they use during full-sets and dip powder to take cuticles off when I had clearly said I wanted a MANICURE. I hate the buffer/drill thing because it damages the skin around my nails, I tell him this and he argues with me and says "that's not possible". I pick out my two colors and half way through he used a different silver color that was sitting on the counter and then says "you confuse me, why you want three colors" and my response, "I didnt pick 3, I picked 2 and I think you just used the wrong color". Long story short all of those interactions were with me brushing it off with "it's not a big deal" while this technician raised his voice and sounded irate. He yelled at me several times and in front of other customers till the end of the session.
Long story short, I left the place almost in tears and I will never be going back there again. They are rude, they don't do a good job and their product is cheap. The dip powder has come off less than a week after I have gotten my nails done (this has happened 2 out of the 4 times I've gotten dip). Oh and if you tell them that - they'll sit there and argue with you. A response I previously got was "that doesn't happen with dip powder" (same technician as today!)
Bottom line: their prices are ok, customer service is shitty, service in general is shitty and their products are cheap. You generally pay for what you get but at I mentioned it's not like their prices are super cheap.
