We were very impressed with our experience at Point Breeze Veterinary Clinic today. We adopted a dog about a week ago that has a few minor health issues we needed to get ironed out. We called this morning and had an appointment scheduled for 3:15pm. I loved that they were able to accommodate us on such short notice and were so nice about it. About fifteen minutes later, they called me back and said there had been a cancellation, would we like to come earlier? Yes, please! How considerate of them to see if coming in earlier would be more convenient for us?! Not your typical customer service these days-- I really appreciated it! We took Harold (our new dog) in and was greeted by a bunch of super friendly faces at the desk, who came right on over and gave him a warm welcome. It was immediately the kind of environment I felt comfortable about bringing my dog into. The space is clean, the staff was patient and Dr. Mathias was very soothing to both us and Harold, and really took the time to answer so many questions (several of which I'm sure were slightly idiotic/dramatic/redundant-- but she never made of us feel like they were!). The bill did get a little steep, but I attribute this mostly to the "startup fees" of having any new pet-- especially an adopted one who had been living on the streets before coming to us. The location is unbelievably convenient (right across the street from Point Brugge) and finding parking was easy! I was grateful to find a great vet on the first try and would sincerely recommend them!
