  • I have been a member of Bodhi Tree for roughly four years -- I periodically try out other yoga studios in Calgary, and I travel to the US frequently and always source out yoga studios wherever I am. I can tell you -- with hesitation -- that the level of instruction at Bodhi Tree is unmatched. The knowledge and skill of the instructors constantly astounds me; they are well-educated in the mechanics of yoga poses, but that knowledge is also paired with accessibility, humor, and fun. Yes, they can be demanding classes -- the instructors are always raising the bar for those of us who wish to push ourselves to our (safe) limits, but there are always provisions made for those who are at different "stops" along the way. I have had negative experiences at studios where there has been a "boot camp" mentality and no consideration is given for where the yoga practiciioner is in their own practice -- Bodhi Tree encourages growth in your practice without Intimidation, bullying, or even a trace of judgment. It's a safe, stimulating, and altogether serene place, with a strong feeling of community, and in my mind, it's quite simply the best place in Calgary to practice yoga.
