I'm never disappointed by the meals here and especially tonite our server Jordan earned 4.5 stars for her amazingly enthusiastic service. She was attentive, considerate of when to interrupt and passionate about our satisfaction. I've dined at 3 star Michelin restaurants where the maitre d/server ratio is up to 4 or 5 to a table, so if that is the bar of my perfect 5 star measure then getting a 4.5 really made my nite!
Our meal at Bandera always includes the duo dip where I pass on the guacamole and enjoy double scoops of the jalapeño cheese dip. It really is divine and chips are easily replenished not even before you've seen the bottom of the dish. Then for more of a blended sweet savory side dish the skillet jalapeño cornbread always is a welcome choice.
Hubby and I shared tonite's special 14oz ribeye and it was definitely enough food after we stuffed ourselves with apps. A minor criticism is that our medium turned into medium well but as I enjoy the perimeter fattier area of the steak I wasn't as bothered. Great food and the triple filtered tap water in a frosty refreshingly cold glass always makes an H2O lover like me come back!
