  • This place was great! Kids heaven! We stayed in the casitas next to the water park for 4 nights and had fun all 4 nights! Our casita was amazing; 2 floors with the bedroom upstairs and dining room, kitchen and living room downstairs. Staff all around were very friendly. The experience was almost perfect; had a couple of minor issues/annoyances hence the four stars instead of five. 1) The wifi did not work. Regardless of what I tried, we could not connect our phones or tablets. I even spent time on the phone with internet service line and still no good. I guess that was a good thing since technically we were on vacation and it was nice not being able to use the internet. At checkout the staff was kind enough to refund the "daily resort fee" since I had trouble connecting to the internet. 2) I can't understand why most of the shops and restaurants are closed during the week? The resort was busy every day I was there so I can't fathom why they feel like it's not worth operating the shops and restaurants during the week. 3) I have never been to a hotel where they make you bring back the towels or you get fined $25 for each towel. Not a very big deal, but after spending hours under the sun and in the pool, the last thing I want to do is worry about where I placed all my towels. 4) The casitas need a little updating. The carpet and the couches are old, one of the coaches was even ripped in the back. Overall great place and will go back.
