  • Extremely poor customer service. Be very cautious if you use this company. I would not recommend them based on my experience. This review will be very critical of the experience I've had with Carpets N More in Henderson, Nevada. I purchased a home recently and the builder (Lennar) is contracted with Carpets N More for flooring. My home had upgraded flooring down stairs and I wanted to complete the home with the same flooring on the stairs and upstairs hallways. Knowing that Carpets N More did the 1st floor, I contacted them for the project on the stairs and 2nd floor hallways. I received an estimate that I agreed too and scheduled an install for Tuesday September 1, 2015. The installer (Jose) arrived and removed the carpet from the stairs and 2nd floor hallways. He then said he was unable to install due to issues with the floor. I contacted the builder and they immediately responded. They corrected the issue. Jose left after removing the carpet and saying that he was unable to install. I made several attempts to contact carpet more without any success. Jose did not return. The following day Wednesday September 2nd 2015, I contacted carpets & more And was told that the installer would come out Thursday. On Thursday Jose arrived and again said that he was unable to install because of issues with the floor. This time the issues were similar in nature but in different locations. I again contacted the builder they immediately responded. They found no issues with the floor. Again I contact with carpets n more. Jose returned on Friday September 4th 2015. Now Jose and carpets n more want me to sign a paper Indicating my warranty will not be valid. I refused to sign this document. Jose begins the installation upstairs and tells me he's unable to complete the job because he does not have all of the necessary materials. I contacted the flooring Manager and he stated the materials will not be in until next week on or about September 8th 2015. My family and I have been walking on plywood up the stairs and all of the hallways on the second floor. This is a brand new home that we just moved into on the 28th of August. The so called "hard wood guy" named George had no explanation why they would start a job demo my carpet out demo the floors without having all of the necessary equipment and or materials to finish the job. George indicates that the necessary materials that are missing will be in on Tuesday September 8th 2015. I contacted the manufacturer of the material and their representative states that the material will not be available until Friday September 11th 2015. This means two full weeks of walking on plywood, plywood stairs, plywood hallways in and out of the bedrooms of a brand new house. Again no explanation from carpets n more. Extremely poor customer service. Be very cautious if you use this company. I would not recommend them based on my experience. When I asked why they would start a job knowing that they did not have the materials, they have no explanation. In fact, George seems to be bothered that the question would even be asked. Jose repeatedly complains that he has to drive out back and forth and he's not compensated for his gas and his time. He says he does not get paid to drive back and forth. How is any of this my problem? Carpets n more had no issue taking my full payment. The only positive has been the sales associate Bob. Bob has been very responsive, returning calls timely etc. The operation side of the house however is a cluster.
