  • If you have a car in Vegas, I would totally suggest staying at Palms Place. My parents and I wanted to get a suite that came with a king bed (for them) and a pull out bed (for me). We found that staying off the strip was a bit cheaper, and although that seemed like an annoyance at first, we soon came to realize that it was actually a benefit. Parking is pretty much free anywhere is Vegas, so we'd just take the short 10 minute drive down to whichever location we were headed to for the day no problem. We never had to walk in the cold, which was another huge plus. However, if you don't have a car I could totally understand why you'd want to avoid Palms Place. As for the actual room itself, it was nice! Big and modern with a beautiful view overlooking all of the entire strip - an interesting perspective! There were balconies, a rare find in Vegas, but unfortunately they were locked due to what the front desk described as too many unfortunate events :( So sad! The pull out couch wasn't the comfiest thing, but I had no major complaints. There was a wonderful mini kitchen that was just adorable and perfect perfect, but we didn't do any cooking since Vegas has so much amazing food to indulge in. Bathroom was again solid with both a tub and a shower. The shower had two heads, one regular and one over the head rain shower - so amazing!! However, a few downsides to Palms Place... - Because the balcony was closed, there were no windows at all. The bathroom didn't even have a ventilation fan that bathrooms normally have to air out the stinky poop smell. Because of this, it got very stuffy. - There was a million lamps all over the room. None of the lamps were that strong/vibrant, so there needed to be many of them. Don't get me wrong, the aesthetic was on point, but having to turn on literally 6 lamps and then turning off 6 lamps each and everyday got tiring and annoying, especially when a couple of them were in more odd spaces like over the couch. Just got kinda annoying, but definitely not a deal breaker. Overall it's a good hotel for sure. I guess some of the suites are actually apartments that are sold, but then rented back out when the tenants are gone? We figured that out when our first room had a safe that was broken into...when we told the front desk they told us they knew but couldn't change it out until there was approval from the owner of the room. However, they changed our room immediately since they understood that having a safe is important. Nice service!
