| - November 22, 2016: I'm not surprised to see the one star reviews, wishing they could give "0" stars. My experience with their "third party" screwed up delivery system for the new refrigerator I ordered left me with a flooded kitchen floor, no frig, and a lot of ruined groceries just a couple days after Thanksgiving. Their resolution - it's called "pass the buck" and you get nothing for the troubles we caused. It was suppose to be a Christmas present for me and turned out to be a "screw you" present from Lowe's instead. After they were immediately paid for the refrigerator I did not receive, I proceeded to wait another few days to get a refund. Even though their own Customer Care representatives were concerned about the my problem with their store, the Manager (Brandon) and assistant manage (Todd) felt I was unworthy of a courteous resolution, and unworthy of a call back from Brandon (even though he received an "urgent message" from his own Customer Care people to give me a call). When Brandon finally was obtained by Customer Care after my second call, and being on hold for almost an hour, I bet he wondered why I no longer wanted to speak to him. He blew me off, but thought I would want to speak with him after that? Really??!! I wrote a lengthy, detailed, filled with names letter to:
Lowe's Corporate Headquarters
Attention: CEO Robert A. Niblock
Attention: Founder Lucius Smith Lowe
1000 Lowe's Boulevard,
Mooresville, North Carolina 28117
Think it will do any good? I'm not holding my breath either. It doesn't look like they respond to any of these negative reviews online, so maybe we just don't matter.
But I am only one small customer, of no consequence, whose only resolution was to go shopping once again, select another refrigerator from Home Depot, and have it delivered in a proper "delivery window" under their stated policies and guidelines, which they did not blow off or lie to me about.
I'm very disappointed that I am no longer a Lowe's customer. This is simply something I never expected from Lowe's. Do you really want to do business with a company that does not care about their customers? If you'd like to receive a full copy of my complaint, just let me know and I'll email it to you!
