  • Welcome to Vintage Pointe, where they show you all of the wonderful amenities and lure you in with great prices and then don't follow through with the quoted amount! They have a great pool where you will get yelled at by surrounding neighbors for talking even if it is only 8 pm, and security will kick you out if you have more than 1 guest per household member, even if it's your birthday! Have pets!? Great! They make sure to charge you up the butt for EACH animal, oh and make sure to read the very small print because they will tell you its a deposit of $300, but really it's a non-refundable fee, on top of the fact that you need to charge your cat $25 a month just to sleep on your bed, because even though he doesn't have a job, Vinatage Pointe will make sure to take as much money from you as humanly possible. They told us our rent was $780 a month for a 1 bedroom. In total after utilities (not including the gas and electricity bill), the total was $1025 a month. This is because they MAKE YOU purchase cable and internet through COX, even if you don't use cable, and you have to pay for water, sewage, trash (as usual) cam charges and a whole extra $5 just for "service". Our neighbors were loud and the cops were always in the neighborhood. They lure you in with the fact that it's a gated community and has a great pool/ workout room, but in actuality, the property is a mess. There were gunshots down the street at the gas station about 2 weeks before we moved out, and people are constantly speeding through the community and rounding corners too fast. My boyfriend and I both work full time and every time we had to pay rent it was a struggle and I hated walking into the office where only 1 or 2 of the employees were actually tolerable. I think there was only 1 lady I looked forward to seeing because she was kind and sympathized with me. This place is awful, bad for people who own pets or have children, or make less than $30 an hour. 800 sq feet, 1 bedroom, $1025 per month, not including gas, and electric. It's overpriced, the staff are awful (other than the one lady), security are jerks, maintenance takes forever, pool closes early, everything breaks super easily, and this place hates pets. Don't look forward to seeing your deposit again, but do look forward to paying extra after you've already moved out because they have a fat cleaning fee of over $200 that they don't mention up front. Oh and make sure to do a through walk through because there were 2 live scorpions in my upstairs apartment as well as several broken appliances including dishwasher, garbage disposal, fridge, and other small things around the place, as well as poor paint jobs and bad caulking. Glad to be rid of this place.
