This is the veteran's cemetery for central Arizona. My husband was a Vietnam war Army veteran and had requested a graveside service with honor guard and American flag. It is a 15 minute service in a covered pavilion near where the remains are interred. You will need a copy of departed's DD214 (discharge papers) for the funeral home to make the necessary arrangements and schedule the services.
My family was treated with kindness, compassion, honor, and dignity. The final resting spot includes a plaque with information on the deceased.
The grounds are beautiful and well-maintained. My husband loved the desert and the mountains around the valley and both views are part of this cemetery's experience.
