Went here for brunch with my best friend since she was in town and wanted to check this place out. I have been to the Henderson location once and my experience over there was okay. I figure I'd give this place another chance, but the food was just okay once again.
I ordered the fried chicken penne pasta since I had already tried the fried chicken and waffles. Highlight of the dish was definitely the chicken. They got the batter, seasoning, and juicy chicken down. The downside was how the pasta was overcooked and you don't get much of it. It turns out that they placed half an apple in my dish since it was the base to hold up the chicken. So at first it looked like a good amount of food for $18.99, but that illusion quickly gets dispelled once you dig into your dish. The sauce of the dish was okay, nothing too special about it.
If I ever go back to a Hash House, I'll probably try another dish with the fried chicken. So far the waffles and pasta has been a miss in my book.
