I had an IUD placed with Dr. Landy. She said it was "the most difficult IUD she's ever done" so she referred me to go get an ultrasound to make sure everything was in place. It took the receptionist over a week to call me back to let me know the IUD was placed correctly, but a cyst had been found on my ovary and then another week to let me know I had a bacterial infection; which, by the way, can be dangerous if not treated after an IUD has been put in. They sent me for a follow-up ultrasound to see if the cyst would reside or if it would have to be removed and they never called me back with the results. After almost a month, I called them and they wouldn't give me the results unless I went in as the receptionist couldn't see any notes on my file. I decided to called my family doctor who's receptionist was able to tell me the cyst had resided over the phone. I was so glad my family doctor was able to tell me this information as my sister has just been diagnosed with a cyst issue that will likely prevent future pregnancies.
The communication between Circle Medical's doctors and receptionist is obviously lacking and the wait time to receive results is too long. I would not recommend Circle Medical to anyone.
