  • Part of what I love about working for Yelp is discovering businesses and getting to meet amazing business owners. While planning Passport to Port Credit, I had the pleasure of walking into Stavebank Florist and meeting the owner, Mona! To begin, Stavebank Florist is an ultra-modern, sheik looking spot adorned with bright colours, and modern fixtures resembling that of a swanky restaurant post a Slice Restaurant Makeover. Following my discussion with Mona I learned that the artistic direction for this was all her idea! Why is this important? Well in a business like that of Florists it's no secret that having strong creative abilities and a keen eye for design would be advantageous when designing/creating beautiful arrangements. This logic follows that Mona is a genius at what she does and after taking over and re-branding this long standing Floral shop she is creating beautiful arrangements that are both inventive and gorgeous. When you're in Mississauga I'd highly recommend you stop by and check them out!
