| - Every Time I come to this dentist I am greeted properly the office is clean and I feel pretty comfortable being here. The staff is polite and friendly. I brought my two kids, a 15 year old and a 9 year old. They both needed dental work and were ready to get it.
Here is one miner issue, Dr, Wolf decided to start with my 9 year old. My daughter was iffy about it yet ready to get her cavities removed. As Dr. Wolf is getting ready, she tells her assistant to hand her the BIG needle. At that point my daughter starts nodding her head saying no. She shed some tears and refused to have her work done. They gave my daughter a referral to a children's dentistry. My son had his work done and is till now satisfied with his dental work.
Second issue, I scheduled a consult for braces for my son. The orthodontic evaluated my son then a gentleman came in to talk about payments and coverage. Here is the issue, he told me their ortho in their office did not work with my insurance that even though I had insurance coverage for braces at 50% that I would have to pay cash at a discounted rate if I chose their ortho. He quoted me 4,500. I thanked him for his time and apologized. I told him it was my fault I wasted his time because I didn't ask if their Dentist accepted my insurance. I had only assumed since their office is in network and their other dentist do indeed accept my insurance, I assumed their ortho did as well. I went to another dentist and will pay only 2,350 for the braces.
Third issue, I went in for pain on a molar and a full dental check up. I was told I needed a root canal/crown, a deep cleaning and some fillings. I decided to do the crown process first due to the pain I had at that time. A gentleman came to me and went over prices and time frames. I made my crown selection and I was told it would take about one week for the crown to be in. The root canal took about 3 hours. Very uncomfortable, drooling and sore jaws. The dentist was coming back and forth doing my tooth and many others at the same time. Too long for me but I no longer had pain so I didn't complain about the time. When I checked out, the lady at check out tells me to schedule my crown appt. two weeks out not one. She said they would call me when it arrived and I could come in sooner than the two weeks. I did as she suggested. I get a call from her in two telling me it was gonna take another week for it too arrive. So I went three weeks with a temporary tooth not chewing on that side hoping it wouldn't fall out or break. Finally when I went for my crown the appt. was fast and painless.
I just went for my deep cleaning this week and I must say the hygienist is a great professional person. He was gentle, caring and polite. He was not rushing. He was not coming and going anywhere. I was the only person he was working on. Its the first time I have absolutely no pain nor no bad taste in my mouth. He constantly asked about my comfort level. Hygienist Trung Nguyen deserves 5 stars. He is commended for his professionalism and great gentle care!
So over all I am going back to this office. I will just ask more questions.
