| - I did not leave this place with a good impression in my first visit. There were 6 of us and we were all told to pay upfront in order for us to get a room. We all paid a minimum of $5 and after that, every hour we decide to stay is another $5. It was a mess because more people came and some people left. Our bill was short since nobody kept track of who paid or not. The worker there told us two of our friends didn't pay before they left, however, they argued that they did. It was just a very unpleasant and disorganized night.
None of us ordered drinks until a bit later. The worker told us that if we wanted to order alcohol we would have to move downstairs. We were never given a proper reason to why we weren't allowed to drink in the room we were in. Anyway, we moved downstairs.
Everything you order, you would have to pay upfront. $5 per person/hr. Beer is market price: $5. It was kind of annoying having to run up and down the stairs when we wanted to order more alcohol. One down fall about this place is that there isn't a service button/phone. Another, is that it gets really hot in the rooms. It feels like you're in a sauna; no kidding! There's no AC but, you can turn on a small fan that's hung in the corner of the room. However, even with that, it does not do much justice.
They have a pretty wide selection for English songs. Whatever's in the Top 100 billboards you will find it. Like any karaokes, they have old school artists like the Backstreet Boys, Britney Spears, Avril Lavigne, etc.
After that night, I told myself it was not worth it to come back. However, I came back for a second shot with my cousins. We went on a Wednesday and it was only $5 per person, all you can sing from 3pm to 9pm. It's a pretty good deal if you ask me! Fortunately, I had a blast (besides the heat) with my cousins.
Overall, this place is only worth going during the weekdays from 3pm to 9pm. You will definitely save the hassle from having to get up to pay every now and then and also, keep track of who paid or not. Also... if you don't mind being in a room that reaches 30+ Celsius.
