  • BEWARE OF YOUR POCKETBOOK! These people want you to spend all your money on your mouth. I MUST PREFACE THIS BY STATING THAT I GO TO THE DENTIST TWICE A YEAR FOR CLEANINGS AND EXAMS AND HAVE DONE SO ALL MY LIFE! I came to Arizona for the winter and contacted Impression Dental to request an exam, and cleaning (in response to their flyer advertising a $99 initial exam and cleaning.) I got a thorough review of my teeth by the hygienist who immediately recommended a deep cleaning and refused to do a regular cleaning because it is only "cosmetic". After the dentist examined my teeth for approximately 2 to 3 minutes, he recommended the same thing as well as additional work which he did not specify and sent me to his "business manager" aka "sales person" who laid out a treatment plan of $8,591. And all of this work needed to be done immediately. (If I paid the doctor $75, he would lower the cost to $6,044. How can he do that unless he is seriously over charging in the first place!) So I paid $99 for some x-rays and didn't get my teeth cleaned. As a side note, I heard the hygienist say to another employee who questioned an open package containing an instrument, "Oh, you can put that back in the cupboard; I only opened it with my bare hands." DO NOT GO HERE! Find someone else!
