Employees make a business or break a business. The new general manager Ryan is great. I called to cancel my membership because I moved out of state and completely forgot to cancel it before I left. The rude lady that answered the phone only gave me 2 options to come in person or send a certified letter which I don't have time for when I'm in the middle of moving across a state. She did not care at all, had an attitude, and basically said too bad. I told her I didn't like the way she treated me especially when I've been a member for years. I told her she needs better customer service skills and that I needed to talk to a manager. The new GM Ryan calls me back within minutes, started off very nice, warm, professional, and acted like he gave a shit about me and my situation. Gave me an option that I was able to do. Handled the situation in minutes and left me happy. I could go on but this should make the point.
Smart gym should hire more people like Ryan who treats customers with care and appreciation! I would recommend smart gym to my Arizona friends anytime, thanks to Ryan!
