  • While I go back and forth about my feelings for Kohl's, I'm gonna give it 4 - though it often deserves about a 3.5. Pricing is a bit wonky, and I'm pretty sure that sometimes they mark up to mark down. BUT they send out great coupons (usually 15 - 30% off a whole purchase, including sale items) about every 10 days, when things get marked down it's usually pretty great, and they have nice designer(ish) lines. The Vera Wang stuff is lovely, though it doesn't always come in much over a size 10. And while I think Lauren Conrad is an idiot, the clothing line she slaps her name on is usually rather on trend without being tacky (the same can't be said, however, for Jennifer Lopez's line). This location is easy to get to, has lots of parking, and very friendly staff. If I ever am wandering around looking confused (as to where something is, where I saw something, etc. etc.) they are happy to help. And they graciously handle returns or exchanges with ease. Plus, it's a Wisconsin-owned company. And you've gotta love that.
