  • Like many others, I was disappointed to see the old Camelview theater go away. However, I was very much looking forward to the new theater and happy to hear that indie offerings would still be available. We live in the western part of Mesa so driving to Scottsdale to see a movie (and passing however many other movie theaters along the way) was only worth it because of the indie offerings and it was well worth it. However, the limited number of indie films at the new theater is a bit disappointing. The ticket price of $14 to see a 10am movie is ridiculously high. The theater is very nice, the seats comfortable and the screen large. However, the seats are just as comfortable and the viewing experience is just as nice at the AMC and CineMark chains for a fraction of the price. Unfortunately, I won't be back to this theater.
