  • We just returned from Las Vegas & although we had an a decent time, the deal we secured at the Hilton GVS included us agreeing to sit through a presentation. The actual presentation was bearable (Mike or Mark can't remember his name, was a very entertaining old Man!). Jeff our designated sales guy, was also very cordial initially. When we were sent off to listen to Jeff's final sales pitch regarding purchasing a timeshare, we related that due to our financial commitments, we were not in a position to move ahead with signing up. Sadly, although the company relates that this will be a 'NO Pressure' experience, sadly you do feel ALOT of pressure! Fortunately in the end, we didn't spend a lot of time with the sales pro Jeff; but it was apparent he was he upset we were not moving forward with any deal and in fact we had to repeat ourselves a few times that we were not interested; he actually got up very abruptly and somewhat grunted in his displeasure. Soon after her came back with another person to do some sort of exit interview. I had to reach out to him to shake his hand and thanked him for his time. You think someone with over 35 years experience in sales would possess a little more decorum then that, especially representing the Hilton brand! Anyhow, our mistake for thinking that the 'NO pressure' presentation would in fact be that... NO free lunch as they say, and as they say, we cannot get those 2 hours back. Quite frankly, I would rather pay the full price at any hotel, then have to go through that experience again, it's just way too uncomfortable. Therefore as you can imagine, this has now left a very stained mark on The Hilton brand for my wife & I. & YES my wife & I are travelers, so Hilton take note & for future reference, just because a guest does NOT sign for your timeshare deal, rest assure we 'may' have booked through Hilton in the future. Sadly due this recent experience...we will definitely rethink before giving you our business. N0 savings is worth that kind of treatment when you are trying to have a reasonable getaway, it's just N0T = WORTH IT!
