Easy to find parking in the lower lot and then just have to cross over on the pedestrian bridge to get to the ticket office. I was there on a Saturday just before sunset so there was a line to go up the trolley and about a 10 minute wait. I paid $2.50 (exact change only) for a 1-way ticket and then it's a quick 5mins (or thereabouts) to go up the incline.
I was lucky to get a seat at the back and so I could see the electrical cord pulling the trolley up the incline. The views from the back side, looking down were quite spectacular and it's really worth the trip.
What I found even more inspirational was the information on the museum at the top of the incline. It amazed me that the Mount Washington community got together and it was a community labor of love that revived the Duquesne incline.
I would absolutely recommend taking the trip, supporting the community endeavor, and checking out the amazing views of Pittsburgh as well as the joining of the 3 rivers, that the incline gives you.
