  • On 7/7/12 around 4pm, I was wrongly accused of stealing by Brian, a mgr. at the store at 2727 W, Bell Rd.,( he claimed he had me on tape stealing & was going to call the police.), I was accused only after I asked him his name & 5 min. before that I tried to return to unopened food items to no avail & asked to speak to him & he refused to give me my money back. During that time I was accused of theft. All I can definitely say besides calling him the worst mgr. with terible customer relation skills I ever encountered in any store I conclude that Frys's will be exceeding sorry if they keep him employed because he will definitely drive customers away with those actions. Just an update to say to my surprise & horror these 2 employees are still employed at this store. So I would say Frys must reward bad, customer relations. Next time I ever go into this store or any Frys I will be prepared & it will never happen to me again without proof. Next time if there is I will have legal proof. He publicly humilated me & apparently was trying to intimidate me to leave the store probaly because I am an older person. I found him to be extremely insulting & his ego seemingly knows no bound. In conclusiion, I will let the police arrest me if they can find me on survelliance tape stealing anything from them on that day or any day & will be willing to take a lie detector that Brian accused me of theft & having evidence of me committing a crime. Another update, I called the Frys food stores at the address above by phone & asked them what their company policy for UNOPENED kroger non food & food items without a receipt or frys card. They said something about a limit of 20.00 & then I told them it was not the same as Kroger's company policy at Frys in AZ so they transferred me to the asst. mgr. which ended up being Brian the asst. mgr. ( which i had the above fiasco with) anyway so I asked him about the company policy for the above referenced returns that are unopened kroger items. So he stated the 20. yr. limit & I told him I already contacted Kroger by phone & they told me the co. policy for Frys is that you don't need a receipt or use a frys card to get a refund under 50.00 & that customer service at frys should be refund or exchange to the customer's satisfaction. By the way some moron left me a message on yelp that I was probaly a scammer. Don't care what he thinks of my review. He probaly works at that Frys store & apparently does not like my honest review of Brian the asst. mgr.( maybe he is Brian's friend) & the GESTAPO like behavior in regards to me. (For some unfabulous reason I keep ENCOUNTERING Brian ....what a delight! Yea sure... So much FUN can't wait to see what happens next & see if that Murphy's law magic happens again....). In my view I think they should make Brian the asst. mgr. the most loved & respected employee in Frys's history & HE should be employee of the year EVERY year & MAYBE get kroger peanut butter for the REST of his life & should be promoted to CEO of Frys food stores....& get his name in the walk of fame. If you believe that ...i have got some swamp land in AZ for u... What a moronic statement this person made since the return only involves UNOPENED kroger item without a receipt or frys card. I would encourage anyone to contact kroger online & by phone to find out this is true as of 10/3/12 & kroger owns Frys food stores. By the way if Brian the asst. mgr. apparently enjoys making up his own rules in regard to what happened to me regarding returns at that store in person & by phone & he is nothing more than a power hungry, ego centric person in my view with what happened to me in regard to my experience. I kept asking Brian the asst. mgr. what the return company policy & he went to the customer service area & stammered repeatedly not answering the question & said is last co. policy was in something like 2006 & Krogers told me the one they were quoting the information on the above as of 6/2012. Quite strange & idiotic that Brian & customer service employees don't know the current company policy because Brian wants to do it HIS way & make returns difficult even though Kroger said you don't need a receipt etc. Go to that store & other Frys food stores & find out for yourself & call Kroger to find our the co. return policy.for Frys food stores in AZ. I contacted Kroger repeatedly & talked to them & have emails to prove that what I said is their co. policy as of 10/12.
