  • I went to Aqua Fria probably around 5-6 months ago, with the same problem I went to a different vet just on Monday... The other vet said he is suprised my dog is still alive, he had urinary retention and they drained a galon of urine from him!!! A galon!!!!!! I went to Aqua Fria complaining that my dog leaks urine and his belly is really bloated and hard.... well no wonder! Now that I'm thinking about it, they said they did ultrasound guided collection or urine.... ummmm if they did ultrasound they would have seen my dog 's bladder was almost three times bigger!... maybe at the time twice bigger since it was about 5 months ago. If you want you dog to be alive when there are some serious issues don't take your dog there! I would not trust them again even with a bird. So dissapointing. I'm so frustrated, all this time my dog was suffering and all the vet said oh he is old (he is 12-13 years old and he is a rescue), they did only one test and then moved on just said he is old and that's way he leaks urine and his belly is so big and bloated. I feel cheated and very diaaspointing that they werent looking hard enough... and did they even do the ultrasound?? Because if they did I'm sure my dog's enlarged bladder and ton of urine in there would be an accidental finding. I'm just mad that all this time I didn't do anything because I trusted aqua fria, where I clearly shouldn't. Anyway, don't take your pets there if you really love them.
