| - I chose to stay at this hotel because it is opposite the T-Mobile arena. Being a local, and having stayed at many hotels in Las Vegas, this hotel currently has nothing to be proud of.
I don't even know where to start on how negative our experience was. We got to the hotel at 2 PM and there is a self check in. Our room was not ready and we were told that the stay well rooms are limited so we were OK with that.
The stay well room should be called the stay ill room! We come back to the hotel at 4:30 PM.
The hallways are dark and we were all the way at the end of the hallway. When I opened the door to the room, the room was warm. I set the thermostat to 70 degrees Fahrenheit. We took off to go to the concert. We were back three and a half hours later, only to find out that the room is still warm! I called down to the front desk. They had engineering come up and they discovered a very dirty and filthy air filter that had to be changed. Despite that, the air conditioning system did not work and it was very unpleasant during the whole night. I don't know what kind of air purifying system they had because our allergies were getting worse rather than better.
From there, we got back to the hotel at 11 PM and expected to order room service. It turns out there's no room service at that time. I called down to find out if they have any 24 hour restaurants in the hotel and the answer is no. When I ask what is the closest place to eat, the front desk clerk says that we can go to Aria which is one hotel over and quite a ways to walk for a 24 hour open café. As we leave the hotel getting ready to get our car, some very nice officers explain that just two minutes ahead of us, in front of the hotel, the park has many great restaurants that are still open until midnight. We were able to eat without any issues but we were disappointed that the hotel could give us that simple information.
The worst part: we get back at 1AM and get into bed. This is supposed to be a stay well bed??? It is extremely rock hard and doesn't mold to your body and there is nothing heavenly or healthy about it. My friend said that she tossed and turned and her hip started hurting. I lay in the bed for three hours and just could not fall asleep because it was so incredibly uncomfortable. After three hours, at 4AM, we decided to simply pack our belongings, get the car, and drive home 15 minutes away where we were able to sleep in a real bed that was actually comfortable and decent.
We are both so disgusted and disappointed. Bad service at this hotel. Terrible rooms. Extremely uncomfortable bed. Staff that doesn't know how to guide you in the area for what you need. I can go on and on and on.
I do not plan to stay at this hotel again and I really do hope that MGM management has read this review because this is how bad my experience has been.
I am an M life member so this is extremely disappointing. We paid a fortune for what I consider to be absolute garbage.
Let me add that we did call and speak to hotel management. They simply said they were sorry and would let their staff know for the future so these mistakes don't happen again. That's all. We were not offered a different room or any other alternative. I am absolutely disgusted with MGM customer service.
