I have been going here now for 2 years for contacts. I don't find the two women at the front desk to be overly friendly but that's not the issue for me. The eye DR does a good job and is very friendly so that's not an issue for me.
What is an issue and one that will probably have me looking for another optometrist next year is that they never have what you need in stock. Yes I understand there are a million different possibilities as far as contact lens prescriptions go and I wouldn't expect them to have them all in stock. BUT - it takes weeks to get them in. My appointment was 3 weeks ago yesterday. They had to order some sample contacts- I still haven't heard anything from them. It was the same issue last year and similar circumstances with my wife. Then after you use the samples and make a decision you again have to wait for your contacts to come in.
Glasses and contacts are Lens Crafters whole business, their sole reason to be, it is ridiculous that it takes anymore than a few days to get something in. If 1-800-contacts can get me everything I need in two days I can't understand why it takes Lens Crafters such an exorbitant amount of time. Next year I will probably go elsewhere for my eye exam and contacts.
