  • Grandview Bakery is a ten minute walk from my house which, as other reviewers have said, is amazing for my happiness level. This place's baked goods are fantastic. They always have a great variety of fresh baked cookies, cupcakes, donuts, eclairs, cannoli, etc etc on hand. It's 99cents for a large cookie and they are big and fantastic - always fresh with a great chewy gooey texture and lots of flavor. My favorite mainstay might be the snickerdoodle, but they also have amazing unusual cookie options like red velvet with cream cheese filling (!!), caramel apple, and salted caramel chocolate chip. I think they rotate though these and also always have the m&m, chocolate chip, oatmeal raisin etc. Whenever I need to bring something to a potluck or work function, it's become my go-to to stop by Grandview Bakery and get a dozen cookies or a sweetbread. In addition to the cookies, I also highly recommend the cupcakes and the blueberry sweetbread. They have good fresh brewed coffee as well. I have always had friendly, prompt service. I feel really lucky to have such a great local bakery nearby. Don't miss it, y'all!
