  • Our main line to the sewer had backed-up. Our sinks, tub and shower would not drain. Our old plumber had retired, so we called Straight Line Plumbing for a quote to clean out the main line. They would not give us a quote over the phone but said their plumber would be happy to come out and give us an estimate for $30 which would be applied to the job should we decide to have the work done. Our retired Plumber, who we loved and used for the past 8 years, had done the main line clean out for us before and charged us $100. I nearly fell over when the Straight Line Plumber quoted us $322.53. Having company arriving that very afternoon, I had no choice but to use their services and pay the very steep price for the job. The line is now clear but lesson learned, if a plumbing service will not provide a quote over the phone, call the next Plumbing Service!!!!
