Okay so besides the fact that I ran into Steve Aoki here this place is pretty great.
So before even parking, I noticed alluring lights outside their patio area. Definitely a large enough outside area to cater to late night boba goers.
Walking in, tea of joy is well lit. Theres plenty of seating and tables. The line to order coiles itself in and out of the tables. Clearly, a busy place especially in the late hours.
The menu is a colorful display above you written in chalk. I feel theres a lot going on up there but just staring at it long enough will give you a clear idea of how to/what to order.
I fixated my eyes on the speciality drinks. The top 3 listed is panda milk tea, green thai mtea and vietnamese coffee.
I was pretty tempted to try the vietnamese coffee but I didnt want to be up until 4am. This place is open until 2am! How awesome right?
Anyway, i ordered my drink and waited maybe 5minutes to get my panda milk tea. They actually ran out of boba but they had boba crystals, which taste like boba and mochi had a baby.
This drink was great! It was a smooth blend of sweet and tasty milk which is non dairy, mind you. The regular size was about 5 dollars.
I sat down to observe the rest of this hotspot. They have board games available and a cool seating area. Ill definitely come back to bring friends and family here!
