| - I loved everything they had! The owner Dave was nice enough to be there to help load. Only downside of the experience was a few days prior to picking up my item. Entered the shop and saw something I really loved but was already sold. It may have been a naive question but I asked the women how much it was sold for and what seemed like a rude come back, tiled her head and with huge eyes opened said "5 million dollars". A bit shocked I still said I've been looking for something like that, but she continued talking to the mailman in front of her, or whoever it was in a uniform. Then continued to the back and saw another file cabinet, and loved it! Few minutes later went back, patiently waited for her conversation to be over with the mailman right near them. Finally looked at me and I asked her how much for the file cabinet. When I got my answer. I then discussed the pros and cons with my husband who was also with me. Asked the lady if we did purchase the item would delivery be available. When we mentioned where we lived she said no. We got the item anyways, figured we can rent a uhaul. Nice thing was they allowed us to leave it there for a few days until we came back. Forward to the day we got there with the uhaul, we hear a conversation with Dave that they do ship....anywhere! The location the couple lived who asked was WAY farther than where we lived, which we were 2 hours away. And shipping was practically near the same price as us renting a uhaul. I'm happy with my purchase and help we got from Dave but disappointed at the lady, I think maybe his wife. First as a employee or even owner she should never sound rude to any potential buyer or even someone who is just there to look. I worked at retail for many years and I know how you should present yourself. If my question was inappropriate your comeback should have been, "let's just say they got an amazing deal", instead of your actual reply. Even though you may be on tv and your shop maybe popular never treat customers as if they're wasting your time. When I mentioned I was looking for something similar to what was sold she should have showed me there's more similar towards the back instead of chit chatting with the mailman. Then she should have let me know they shipped. If your shop itself don't personally deliver, let me know shipping is available. It's the same thing! Only time I really noticed a smile from her was when my husband's card was swiped. You got our money, we're happy with our purchase, the shop has amazing things and Dave and his helper was nice when loading item to uhaul. Just need to work on some things. I will tell friends to checkout your shop, but with a little warning.
