  • FAMILY FRIENDLY. Believe it or not, I stay here while I'm on business trips that are 5+ days. I don't like walking through smokey casinos, or doing the 1/2 mile walk to the lobby or valet parking in the big casinos just to grab a car or taxi to get to the convention center. My family came to join me at the end of my job and there was plenty of room for us and my two kids. Love the tricked out kitchen. We even baked cookies one night. Pros: -Excellent location. Across the street from Towne Square shopping mall. A mile away from Bells outlet center, and 4 miles to McCarren Airport. I went to all of these places multiple times picking up clients and shopping for our convention. -Staff: Courteous -Check-in: Moderate efficiency. They can't really handle heavy customer traffic, but on a non-peak day it's pretty good. -Ammenities: Wish it wasn't January and freezing each time I stayed here, or we would've loved to use the lazy river and pool. It's supposed to be heated to 80 degrees, but we were too lazy to brave the 40 degree weather to jump in. Kids Activities: Thank You Tahiti for the Tower 5 kids club, my kids went to 2-3 craft classes a day, and stayed an hour after just to mess around with board games. We never even made it to the strip because they had such a great time on your property. We came home with DIY calendars, mugs, banks, jewelry... -Price: $$ I paid under $350/night for a 2 bedroom, during the CES 2016 show, can't complain. I think on a non-peak weeknight the same room would only be $249. -Convenience Store/Gift Shop: simple, had what I needed. not overpriced. -Wifi is reliable, and decent speed Cons: -The bedding is just a sheet, and old school hawaiin print thin polyester comforter. Wish they'd catch up and get duvets. Even the Hampton Inns have soft duvet covers. -Key cards got demagnetized easily. Consider them One-time-use keys, because I could use them to enter the room, but the key card in my phone wallet, purse, coat pocket and it would demagnetize and we had to keep going back to the front desk to get new keys. We had 4 adults in the room and we all had this problem. So we just started going straight to the front desk when we returned to the hotel, which was not convenient. -Hotel phones didn't work -Hate the facility fees, wish they would just work it into the room rate -No business center, but my bad, I guess it is a resort
