Going in I was expecting some good quality food and left having some of the best bites to eat in a while. Makes we wish I visited Pittsburgh more often.
Nice beer selection with different varieties. Great to see its not the standard taps you see in every bar.
Beef tongue dish was probably the best thing I had in a while. From start to finish it was perfect. I could see myself stopping in for this and a beer and be happy.
Wings were great especially with the cheese foam
Pork tag dish was solid and a good comfort food dish to return to.
Had both deserts. I could have the pana cota anytime, although enjoyed having something I would never order with the lavender pound cake.
Outside of the food and drinks, nice quiet crowd, great service and don't be afraid to ask for further details of how the dishes are made. Makes it feel like an episode of top chef.
